Spice Set to Return to Kingston for the First Time in 6 Years

The Queen of Dancehall, Spice, is set to headline Kurrent Fest on July 13 at Ranny Williams Entertainment Center. Joining her as a headliner is the Soca Princess, Nailah Blackman

For the first time in over five years, the Queen of Dancehall, Spice, is set to return to Kingston as a headliner at Kurrent Fest on Saturday, July 13, at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Center in the capital city.


Spice, dubbed the Queen of Dancehall, is currently working on her next studio album, slated for release later this year, featuring some international collaborations.


Joining Spice as a headliner at Kurrent Fest is the Soca Princess, Nailah Blackman, promising an unforgettable night of music and entertainment. A bench of top selectors, including DJ Kevi The Kinetic, Wess, the dynamic duo of Brush1 and Bloodline Franco, Fyahman, and DJ Mindless, are set to entertain the revelers all night.



"It’s not just a music festival. It’s a Caribbean extravaganza,with world-class production patrons should prepare for an unforgettable experience", said Nathan Davis, Managing Director of the Yardii group of companies and event coordinators of Kurrent Fest.


Meanwhile, Spice has a busy schedule and is about to perform at DLT Malta in June alongside fellow dancehall stars Popcaan and Skillibeng and is set to perform at the London edition of Popcaan's Unruly Fest on July 28.
