Dancehall superstar Shenseea has officially earned her first credited entry on the Billboard Hot 100, thanks to her feature on Moliy’s “Shake It to the Max (Fly) Remix),” which also includes Skillibeng and Miami producer Silent Addi. The track debuts at No. 91 on this week’s chart.
With this milestone, Shenseea becomes the first Jamaican female hardcore dancehall artist to appear on the Hot 100 as a credited act in 21 years.
The remix also claims the title of the highest-charting dancehall single of the decade, surpassing Byron Messia and Burna Boy’s “Talibans Remix.”
Moliy’s breakout single has become a major crossover hit since its premiere in December. While several remix versions have been released, the version featuring Shenseea and Skillibeng stands out as the most popular, racking up over 53 million views on YouTube and earning a spot on Spotify’s official Summer Songs playlist.
Currently in Jamaica, Shenseea is focused on her third studio album and has just wrapped filming a new music video for another collaboration with Skillibeng—this time on rising deejay Ayetian’s hit track, “Tip (Remix).”
