Jamaican superstar Shenseea continues to elevate her global profile, further making her name marketable worldwide. She now joins forces with global pop legend Mariah Carey and R&B star Kehlani on “Sugar Sweet,” a single from Carey’s upcoming album Here For It All, set to be released this Friday ahead of the full album drop on September 26.

Rumors of Shenseea’s involvement began swirling after fans noticed she had followed Carey on Instagram. Speculation about her vocal feature gained traction, especially after her name appeared in the official writing credits, listed as a composer alongside her manager Dizzy Clean Face, Kehlani, and Carey herself. On Wednesday, Carey confirmed the release will feature all three singers, sharing an Instagram Story and tagging both Shenseea and Kehlani.

It’s no surprise. Shenseea has been steadily establishing herself among global music heavyweights. Her recent contribution to the star-studded Smurfs movie soundtrack, coupled with a wave of international collaborations, confirms her status as a sought-after artist known for delivering fresh, genre-blending sounds.

Known for her energetic performances and her fusion of dancehall, rap, and reggae, the “Hit & Run” singer is riding the momentum of Moliy's Billboard Hot 100 hit “Shake It To The Max” with Skillbeng.

She recently wrapped a 9-city European tour and is set to perform at Canada’s SOS Soca Festival on August 1. On Saturday, August 30, Shenseea will also hit the stage at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center for the Labour Day weekend event of Reggae Fest Massive, curated by top promoter CJ Milan as part of her Reggae Fest tour, alongside Alkaline, Capleton, Elephant Man, and more.
