Dancehall producer Shakespeare continues to evolve within the musical landscape, refining his sound with each release.
His latest single, “Mi Seh,” featuring dancehall star Govana, is already resonating in the streets, with early feedback pointing to strong reception among listeners.
“The overall happy and vibrant feeling - the song makes you want to buss a rock and move,” he said, describing the concept, as Govana’s signature flow and witty lyrics blend seamlessly over Shakespeare’s production.
For Shakespeare, the collaboration comes as no surprise. “Working with Govana is always a good vibe. From going through riddims to bouncing off ideas, I always get the sense that the song we’re creating will be a big one,” he shared. “His work ethic is also crazy. he has no problem changing lines or even re-recording full songs to get the exact sound he wants.”
