Protoje, Lila Ike, and Sean Paul set for New Orleans Jazz Fest 2026

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival has unveiled its 2026 lineup, announcing a special tribute to Jamaican music and culture in the wake of the devastating impact of Hurricane Melissa.

The 54th edition of the iconic multi-weekend festival will run from April 23 to May 3, transforming its Cultural Exchange Pavilion into a Jamaica-focused showcase. Dubbed “One Love Jamaica,” the program will spotlight a strong lineup of Jamaican talent, including Sean Paul, Stephen and Ziggy Marley, Protoje, Lila Iké, Luciano, Jesse Royal, and Burning Spear.

According to NOLA.com, the Cultural Exchange Pavilion will highlight Jamaica’s music and culture, with Jamaican acts such as Sean Paul, Stephen Marley, Protoje, and Jesse Royal set to appear across the festival. The focus, titled “One Love Jamaica,” comes in the wake of the devastating impact of Hurricane Melissa, which struck the island in October, the outlet reported.

Beyond the Jamaica-centered programming, the 2026 Jazz Fest will feature major headliners such as Rod Stewart, Nas, Kings of Leon, Raye, Teddy Swims, and Lorde. In total, approximately 120 artists are booked for the expansive, multi-genre celebration across the two weekends.
