Sean Paul stays committed to the cause
International superstar Sean Paul remains unwavering in his commitment to Jamaica’s long road to recovery in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, stepping away from his schedule to spend hours on the ground in the hardest-hit communities across western Jamaica.
While in Westmoreland and surrounding parishes, Sean Paul met with residents, listened to their needs, and outlined his ongoing plans to support rebuilding and restoration efforts, visiting five different locations in a single day on Friday.
“We’re trying to make life feel a little more normal, try to better up,” he shared in a viral Instagram post that received widespread support from the entertainment industry.
In recent weeks, Sean Paul has intensified his joint relief efforts, initially partnering with Food For The Poor and World Central Kitchen, and later joined by major supporters such as Diplo, Winnie Harlow, and British comedian White Yardie, among others, pooling resources to deliver food, water, and essential supplies.
Fellow dancehall icon Bounty Killer endorsed the mission, praising it as “true solidarity. Biggest works of humanitarian. Kudos to we bredda.”
Meanwhile, the dancehall pop-infused star is gearing up to kick off his 2026 schedule, with a packed slate of European dates including Stockholm, Germany, Amsterdam, Paris, and Luxembourg among his February stops. Before that, he will headline the Jamaica Strong Benefit Concert at UBS Arena on December 12, performing alongside Shaggy and many others.
