Grammy Award-winning Jamaican artiste Sean Paul keeps the energy flowing with his latest single, “DIP,” released through Dutty Rock Productions.
The track was co-produced with Sommer Ray, the popular creator and fitness entrepreneur who has expanded into DJing in recent years. Through Dutty Rock, Sean Paul has continued to support Jamaican music, producers and emerging talent while pushing his sound to a global audience.
“‘DIP’ is about energy and movement,” says Sean Paul. “When the beat hits, you’re supposed to feel it. I always want to make music that people can enjoy anywhere in the world, and this one is definitely made for people to move.”
Ahead of the release, Sean Paul previewed the track in a social media post alongside popular streamer N3on, who has been spending time with the dancehall star in Jamaica while getting a taste of the island’s culture.
The new single arrives as Sean Paul prepares to return to South Africa for three shows in December. The run kicks off at Grand Arena at GrandWest in Cape Town on December 3, followed by SunBet Arena at Time Square in Pretoria on December 4, before wrapping up in Durban.
