The Jamaican dancehall icon extends his record as the most-certified Jamaican artiste in the United Kingdom, with the certification recognizing over 600,000 units

Sean Paul has reached another major career milestone, earning his 10th Platinum certification in the United Kingdom as his global hit Like Glue is officially certified Platinum.

The certification, issued by the British Phonographic Industry, recognizes the equivalent of over 600,000 units in combined sales and streaming across the UK.

Produced by Tony “CD” Kelly on the Buy Out riddim in 2001, “Like Glue” emerged as the riddim’s most successful cut.

The track peaked at No. 3 on the UK Singles Chart, reached No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100, and climbed to No. 9 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, while also breaking the top 10 in Hungary, Ireland, Canada, Australia, Italy, Scotland, and Switzerland.

With this latest honor, Sean Paul further extends his record as the most Platinum-certified Jamaican artiste in the UK, underscoring the lasting global impact of one of dancehall’s defining anthems.
