Jamaican super producer Rvssian continues to strengthen his international résumé, producing a new single for British singer Leigh-Anne titled “Friends,” set for release on Friday, November 21.
Leigh-Anne, who is of Barbadian and Jamaican heritage, announced the track on her social media pages. The single draws inspiration from the viral Dutty Money/Go Go riddim, offering a fresh twist on the beat.
Rvssian has revamped his iconic Go Go Riddim from 2009 - the same production that delivered dancehall staples from Vybz Kartel, Konshens, and others. His 2023 juggling, the Dutty Money Riddim, went on to spawn hits from RajahWild, Valiant, Kraff, Nigy Boy, Jada Kingdom, and more, dominating the dancehall landscape.
This year, the Jamaican hitmaking producer has been dominating the scene once again with his chart-topping project Story Book, which features Masicka’s “Rich Sex,” Valiant’s “Passenger Princess,” Vybz Kartel’s title track “Story Book,” as well as tracks from Shenseea, Dexta Daps, among others.
Leigh-Anne Pinnock, known globally as a member of Little Mix, rose to fame as part of one of the biggest girl groups in modern pop history, delivering hits like “Shout Out to My Ex,” “Black Magic,” and more. She is also married to Reggae Boyz striker and English-born footballer Andre Gray.
