Rising dancehall artiste Merkz has teamed up with Top Ranks Entertainment for his latest release, “Diamonds,” a gritty new single centered on themes of money, ambition, and the pursuit of success.

Released earlier this year, the track has been gaining steady momentum, trending across multiple platforms for the past two weeks, with the official visuals dropped on Friday, January 9.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the record, Merkz shared, “‘Diamonds’ is really about mindset. It’s not just the money, but the hunger to elevate, break out of where you’re coming from, and aim for something bigger.”

A Clarendon native, Merkz has been steadily building his name in the underground dancehall space over the past few years. He previously made waves with tracks such as “Blueplate,” along with “Never Work” and “No Money,” all of which have earned thousands of views and strengthened his growing presence on the scene.
