Barbadian singer, businesswoman, and billionaire Rihanna has given birth to a baby girl, Rocki Irish Mayers.

Rihanna shared the news with fans in a post on her social media accounts on Wednesday, announcing that she welcomed her daughter into the world on Saturday, September 13. Industry heavyweights like DJ Khaled, La La Anthony, and Kehlani quickly flooded the comments to congratulate her on the post.

This is the third child and first daughter for the Diamonds singer with her partner, A$AP Rocky. The pair are already parents to two sons: RZA, born in 2022, and Riot, who arrived in 2023.

Rumors in recent days had suggested that Rihanna had already given birth to her third child with A$AP Rocky, and those reports have now been confirmed.

In a recent interview with ELLE magazine, A$AP Rocky opened up about their hopes for the new baby, sharing his wish for a daughter: “I hope it’s a girl. I really do. We’re praying for a girl. I feel like it’s going to be a girl,” he said. “This pregnancy is so different from the other two- you can tell from the experience. I hope it’s a baby girl, man. I need that.”
