Roots reggae singer Chezidek teams up with Addis Pablo and Bob Riddim on a new single centered on the healing power of music, as part of their Togetherness project

Jamaican roots reggae singer Chezidek delivers a soaring new single, “Musical High,” an ode to the healing power of music.
The track, produced by Grammy-nominated Bob Riddim alongside melodica player and reggae heir Addis Pablo, is set for release on April 20. Addis, the son of legendary producer and melodica pioneer Augustus Pablo, brings a rich musical legacy to the project.
“Musical High” continues a creative vision rooted in spirituality and sound, carried by Chezidek’s poignant delivery. The Rastafarian artist, who's known for his herbal singles in the early 2000sis well-suited to capture the mystical and medicinal essence of reggae music.
The single marks the first release from Togetherness, a new collaborative project unfolding between Addis Pablo and Bob Riddim, aimed at bridging generations of reggae talent. “Musical High” arrives in time for April 20, also known as 4/20 Day, via digital platforms, with more releases expected soon. However, the official music video has already been released.
Addis Pablo, who grew up surrounded by icons such as Yami Bolo, Earl Chinna Smith, and Earl Sixteen, has carved his own path while honoring his father’s legacy. His collaboration with Bob Riddim stems from their work on Destiny, one of the final albums by reggae pioneer Lee Scratch Perry.
