Seaview Gardens-bred recording artist Wilful Skilful, a protégé shaped under the guidance of dancehall icon Bounty Killer, is set to release his seven-track debut EP Growth on March 27.
The project charts a raw journey from hunger to triumph, with veteran reggae singer Wayne Wonder lending his voice to the emotional centerpiece, “Mus Overcome.”
“Growth is a powerful word that reflects your past and shapes your future,” the Kingston-born artist shared.
The seven-track project moves through themes of ambition, street-level reality, and resilience, ultimately closing with a triumphant anthem. Wayne Wonder’s appearance on “Mus Overcome” adds a reflective touch, bridging dancehall’s golden era with the emergence of a new voice.
The Seaview Gardens-raised artist first made waves when the viral momentum behind his single “Ambitious” landed him on the stage of Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, where he opened for Bounty Killer - a moment that signaled the beginning of a bigger journey. “Work like nobody is watching. Win like everyone is,” Wilful added.
Following the EP release, Wilful Skilful is set to take the project to stages worldwide with the Growth International Tour 2026, with planned stops across the UK, United States, Japan, and Australia.
