Munga Honorable and Ras-I

Reggae artist Ras-I joins forces with Munga Honorable to deliver a groovy, conscious, and upbeat new single titled “Rastafari In Charge”.

The track blends roots reggae with an uplifting message, encouraging listeners to pause the bad energy and embrace joy, meditation, and good company.

Ras-I's soulful delivery and spiritually charged lyrics pair seamlessly with the “Bad From Mi Born” deejay's fiery verse and unmistakable tone.

Growing up amidst Kingston’s vibrant music scene, Ras-I became well acquainted with Munga Honourable’s extensive catalogue early on. “I’d rewind tapes of his early hits a dozen times,” he recalls. “The grit in his voice, his cadence, and conviction were qualities I aimed to perfect.” Those listening sessions laid the foundation for Ras-I’s own creative ethos: meaningful lyrics delivered with unwavering presence.

Ras-I has steadily carved out a unique space in reggae with standout releases like “Somewhere Wonderful” and “Kingman Ting,” both praised for their heartfelt lyricism and authentic roots sound.

“As an artist, you dream of moments like this,” He said. “When your icons inspire you and stand beside you, it validates every industry hiccup and struggle and every late night spent writing verses and recording songs in hopes of them resonating with your audience.”

Produced by Koastal Kings, Rastafari In Charge is a refreshing reminder of reggae’s power to inspire, uplift, and move bodies on the dancefloor.
