Toni Braxton return to Sumfest after 16 Years
Grammy-winning R&B legend Toni Braxton is set to perform at Reggae Sumfest 2025, organisers Downsound Entertainment confirmed on Monday.
Braxton will headline Festival Night 2 on Saturday, July 19, at the Catherine Hall Entertainment Complex in Montego Bay—marking her first appearance at the festival in 16 years.
Known for timeless classics like "Un-Break My Heart," "He Wasn’t Man Enough," and "Breathe Again," Braxton is expected to deliver a soulful and emotionally charged performance. She joins an already stellar Night 2 lineup featuring reggae powerhouses Tarrus Riley, Protoje, and Lila Iké.
Festival Night 1, set for Friday, July 18, will feature dancehall icons including Vybz Kartel, Masicka, Skeng, and Tommy Lee Sparta.
The week-long Reggae Sumfest experience runs from July 13–19, kicking off with Family Funday. Other themed events include the vibrant Street Dance, the elegant All White Party, Blitz on Wednesday, and the newly added Global Fete on Thursday.
