The dancehall superstar earns another collaboration with the rapper on “Amazing Shape” as Drake surprises fans with a three-album midnight drop, unveiling Iceman, Habibti, and Maid Of Honour simultaneously

Drake and Popcaan have one of dancehall and hip-hop’s biggest crossover partnerships
Drake surprised fans at midnight with a massive three-album drop instead of releasing only his highly anticipated Iceman project, unveiling Iceman, Habibti, and Maid Of Honour simultaneously.
Among the features on Maid Of Honour is international dancehall superstar Popcaan on the track “Amazing Shape.” The collaboration marks the fifth official link-up between both artistes following tracks such as “Twist & Turn,” which has amassed over 120 million Spotify streams and earned Gold certification in the United States in 2024, “All I Need,” and “We Caa Done,” which has generated more than 74 million Spotify streams, along with Popcaan’s contribution to the original version of “Controlla.”
Popcaan and Drake have built one of dancehall and hip-hop’s biggest crossover partnerships over the years through Drake’s OVO Sound connection and multiple collaborations. Popcaan officially signed to Drake’s OVO Sound label in late 2018 after Drake announced the deal during his surprise appearance at Unruly Fest in Jamaica.
Following the signing, Popcaan released projects including Vanquish, Fixtape, and Great Is He through OVO Sound, with collaborations like “Twist & Turn” appearing on Fixtape and “We Caa Done” featured on his 2023 album Great Is He. The project marked his final release under the OVO Sound imprint before returning to independent releases and later dropping his first independent album since parting ways with the label last year.
Last year, Popcaan also joined Drake during the third night of the Canadian superstar’s historic three-night headline run at Wireless Festival in the UK, sharing the stage alongside Vybz Kartel and Central Cee in front of over 50,000 fans in one of dancehall’s biggesy international moments.
Maid Of Honour, which arrives as part of Drake’s surprise triple-album release, also features collaborations from Sexyy Red, Central Cee, and more.
