NeeQah gets emotional in heartfelt dancehall track
Jamaican dancehall artist NeeQah returns with “Sorry to My Ex,” a melodic dancehall-soul track that delves into emotional betrayal and the journey of self-preservation. Blending raw vulnerability with strength and rhythm, the song captures the heartbreak of discovering a lover’s divided loyalty.
Through smooth, pulsating production by Tunupsquad and Staxx, NeeQah explores the tipping point between possession and delivers her truth with a poetic lyric.
“My journey is not smooth sailing, but I still give thanks for the experience and knowledge I’ve gained over the past few years as an artiste,” she shares. “I’ve persevered despite the shortcomings because of the love and support of the people around me.”
Known for previous tracks like “Ms. Melanin” featuring Charly Black and “Gifted,” along with performances around the globe, NeeQah recently signed with TunUpSquad/Upleef. She is now gearing up to release her debut album, Catharsis, set for 2026.
