Rising dancehall artiste Mwata Modala is set to make his debut appearance at the 2026 staging of Best of the Best Music Fest, scheduled for Sunday, May 24 at Museum Park.
Now approaching its 19th staging, the annual festival remains one of the longest-running Caribbean music events in the United States, bringing together top reggae, dancehall and soca acts alongside fans from across the Caribbean diaspora.
For Mwata Modala, the performance marks a significant moment as he prepares to step onto one of the largest Caribbean stages in the U.S.
The artiste has been steadily building his catalog with tracks such as “Eh Gyal,” “Luv It,” “Hustle,” and “Killah,” while gearing up for the release of his upcoming single “Can’t Stop Me Now.”
Festival organizers say the platform has always aimed to spotlight both established and emerging talent from the Caribbean music space.

Since its launch, the festival has grown into a major cultural gathering celebrating Caribbean music, food, and lifestyle, drawing thousands of attendees each year.
Mwata Modala’s debut performance will introduce his music to a wide live audience as he continues expanding his reach and preparing new releases.
