Nigerian Afropop superstar Mr Eazi teams up with Ghanaian-American sensation MOLIY for the buoyant new single, “Comfort.”
Produced by Nigerian hitmaker Ragee, whose recent credits include Davido’s “Unavailable” and Ayra Starr’s “Hot Body” and “Who’s Dat Girl,” the track blends a bouncy rhythm with a bubbly bass-synth melody.
“Comfort” continues Mr Eazi’s signature Banku Music sound, bringing together elements of Afrobeats, dancehall and R&B. The song was recorded during a summer stay in London and, according to Eazi, represents an updated version of the style that has defined much of his career.
“This is an updated version of my signature sound,” Mr Eazi said. “I’m making gyal dem music - sweet, easy, flattering gyal dem music.”
The accompanying ’80s-inspired music video, directed by Ademola Falomo, leans into a retro-futuristic aesthetic with telephone hotline commercial visuals, laser-grid graphics, shopping-mall photo studio backdrops and oversized cellphones.
The collaboration had already generated major attention before its official release, with teaser audio reportedly attracting more than 30 million views and over 60,000 TikTok uses, alongside growing traction across Instagram.

“Comfort” adds to a busy 2026 for Mr Eazi, following a trio of singles with U.S.-based dancehall producer Dre Skull, including “Lambo” featuring Vybz Kartel, “Hide Your Love” and more.
