Dancehall artiste SampoDon has teamed up with Montego Bay-based label Great Gang Muzik (GG) and rising production outfit Disaster Music for his new single, “Payment Plan.”
The track, which amassed nearly 100,000 views within its first 24 hours of release, showcases SampoDon's sharp lyrical delivery, centered on ambition and the pursuit of financial success. The single has been well received by listeners, earning positive feedback across the dancehall space.
SampoDon, whose given name is Jazade Samuels, grew up in a rural community in Montego Bay, where his passion for music first began to take shape. After spending time honing his craft away from the spotlight, the deejay has returned with renewed focus, linking with Great Gang Muzik and Disaster Music to deliver what he describes as a defining moment in his journey. “This song represents my mindset right now - focus, growth, and securing what’s mine,” he shared.
“Payment Plan” marks a notable step in the evolution of the Cornwall College graduate, blending gritty authenticity with a confident, forward-looking sound as he continues to carve out his place in dancehall.
