Fast-rising dancehall artiste Merkz continues his breakout year, with his momentum showing no signs of slowing down.
His latest release, “Burnin,” is currently No. 3 on YouTube’s Trending chart and previously peaked at No. 8 on Jamaica’s Top Trending Videos, amassing over 222,000 views.
Released as part of the Push Weight Riddim by Kit Boss Records, “Burnin” joins other cuts on the project, including Rani Rastaciti’s “Plug/TTL” and the title track, “Push Weight,” by Teebone.
The latest success adds to an already strong 2026 for the Clarendon-born deejay, who continues to establish himself among dancehall’s fastest-rising new talents.
