Dancehall superstar Masicka sets the stage for his third studio album, following his acclaimed debut 438 in 2021 and Generation of Kings in 2023, with the release of his new single “Keys,” via Def Jam Recordings.
The track immediately resonated with fans, fusing Masicka’s lyrical precision with a seductive flair tailored for the ladies. Produced by Westen Weiss, “Keys” showcases his signature versatility, balancing smooth, sensual delivery with the hard-hitting edge that defines his catalog.
Shot in Portland and directed by Shane Creative, the accompanying visuals—produced by 4FortyFour Atelier, capture the island’s lush scenery, enhancing the song’s romantic tone and visual allure.
Masicka, who recently performed in Barbados and Miami, is set to continue his Caribbean run with an upcoming show in The Bahamas. He will cap off the year with his own festival, Uno Fiesta, slated for December in St. Ann to coincide with his birthday, a fitting celebration for an artist entering a new era with another major album on the horizon. He announced the event on his social media accounts.
This release of “Keys” follows “La Cabra,” released just a week ago and produced by longtime collaborator Dunwell, though it will not appear on the forthcoming project.
Kaboom Magazine first reported on the Def Jam artist’s upcoming third studio album earlier this February, confirming new music was in the works for release later this year.
