Dancehall star Masicka has officially dropped his highly anticipated single "Mute," released under Def Jam Recordings on Friday, May 23.

The track had already been generating buzz on social media in recent weeks, thanks to teaser clips shared by the deejay himself. With its release, "Mute" once again highlights Masicka’s lyrical mastery and sharp rhyming skills.

He teams up with renowned producer Atto “Attomatic” Wallace, who co-produced his colossal hit “Whites,” and Mario “Dindin” Hemmings, known for chart-toppers like “Limelight,” to deliver what could be another hit in the making.

Sources suggest Masicka is gearing up to release his third studio album later this year, following the critically acclaimed "438" and "G.O.K," his debut project under the major American label.

"Mute" marks his third solo release of 2025 and his sixth overall, adding to a string of strong singles including “Cut The Link” featuring Kranium, the “Whites” remix with French Montana, and “Different Type of Love” with R&B artist Mahalia.
