Live & Direc Delivers Unforgettable R&B Showcase at Constant Spring Golf Club

R&B icon Brian McKnight delivered a heartfelt, love-filled set, while Dru Hill and Sisqó lit up the stage with high-energy performances. Local talents held their own among the stars at Classics at Constant Spring Golf Club, captivating an audience of 2,500

The lush grounds of Constant Spring Golf Club were transformed into a vibrant concert venue on Saturday, June 28, as the Live & Direc Concert brought together a powerhouse lineup led by R&B legends Brian McKnight and Dru Hill. Supported by soulful local talents Mozein, Joby Jay, and Chris Ellis, the show captivated over 2,500 attendees with a blend of timeless hits, breathtaking vocals, and high-energy performances.


Opening the evening on a smooth note, 2022 Digicel Rising Stars winner Mozein charmed the crowd with his sultry vocals and easy charisma. He was followed by reggae-fusion singer Joby Jay, who blended reggae and soul with undeniable stage presence, earning loud cheers and setting the stage for the night’s headline acts.


Singer Christopher Ellis delivered a heartfelt performance, channeling the spirit of his late father, Alton Ellis, and closing with a touching tribute of “I’m Still In Love With You.”

Shortly after, Dru Hill took the stage to roaring applause. Led by the charismatic Sisqó, the group delivered a high-energy set filled with fan favorites like “In My Bed,” “Never Make a Promise,” and “How Deep Is Your Love.” Their hour-long performance, packed with slick choreography and rich vocals, sparked waves of nostalgia. Sisqó closed with the much-anticipated “Thong Song,” sending the crowd into a frenzy.


The lovers’ hour arrived as “Back at One” crooner Brian McKnight took center stage. McKnight embraced the love-filled energy of the audience, becoming visibly moved during his performance of “Everything,” even shedding tears. The grounds echoed like a choir as fans sang along to “6, 8, 12,”“Anytime,” and “Love of My Life.” He closed his set with “One Last Cry,” leaving the stage to a wave of resounding applause and calls for an encore.


“Our vision was to unite fans old and new under one night of soulful R&B,” said Cheryl Peart, Director of Live & Direc. “The synergy between Brian McKnight and Dru Hill, paired with local standouts like Mozein, Joby Jay, and Chris Ellis, delivered a concert we’ll all remember for years.”

The production impressed with top-tier sound, lighting, and visuals, creating a nostalgic yet fresh vibe. Blending legendary R&B with Jamaica’s rising stars, the night delivered an unforgettable musical experience.
