Grenadian Jab soca artiste Lil Kerry is turning his Power Soca Monarch success into even bigger momentum with his track “Mayhem.”
Lil Kerry delivered an energetic performance of the track at this year’s Power Soca Monarch competition, one of the marquee events of Spicemas Grenada, earning third place in the highly competitive category. But while the judges ranked him third, the people took “Mayhem” to No. 1, with the song topping the iTunes Grenada Top Songs chart by the following morning.
The momentum has carried across platforms, with “Mayhem” also reaching No. 6 on Grenada’s Apple Music Top Songs chart and continuing to climb. His other 2026 Spicemas release, “Upset,” has also gained traction, reaching No. 17 on the chart.
Behind “Mayhem” is a strong team, with Jamar Cleary handling A&R, Colis Beats on production and Scratch Master responsible for mixing and mastering. The single was released through Lil Kerry’s independent Major League Studio and distributed by ONErpm, while manager Chevon Francis has helped steer its growing momentum. The accompanying music video was shot by TR Productions/Sonix Productions and edited by Madam Editeur.
Blending the raw intensity of Jab soca with polished production, “Mayhem” has proven its strength well beyond the competition stage. A third-place Soca Monarch finish was already an achievement, but climbing to No. 1 the following morning showed something even bigger — a growing connection between Lil Kerry and his audience.
