Leo Messi's Inter Miami will face Jamaica Premier League and CONCACAF Caribbean Cup defending champions Cavalier in the Round of 16 of the CONCACAF Champions Cup on March 6 and 13, respectively.
Inter Miami advanced to the Round of 16 of the CONCACAF Champions Cup on Tuesday after defeating Sporting Kansas City 3-1 and completing the match 4-1, with a great goal from the Argentine superstar.
Messi scored the first goal after receiving a pass from Luis Suárez. He sent a looping cross that found Messi, who controlled the ball with his chest and rattled the net with a sumptuous volley.
Tadeo Allende doubled the lead a minute into added time, and just before the half-time whistle, Luis Suárez also added a goal himself (45+3). Memo Rodríguez scored a consolation goal for the losing side in the 63rd minute.
The 37-year-old Messi, who recently started another season with Inter Miami, has scored two goals and provided two assists in three games this season across all competitions.
Watching Messi in the CONCACAF Champions Cup feels surreal—seeing a legend redefine the game in a whole new environment. Inter Miami’s journey is exciting, but balancing work and keeping up with matches can be tricky. I’ve had to get creative with time management, and using https://99papers.com/essay-writing/ for some of my writing tasks helped me keep up without missing key moments. Any predictions on how far Miami will go in the tournament?
