Kranium earns second Gold for breakout hit

Dancehall artiste Kranium has earned a second Gold certification for his breakout single "Nobody Has to Know." The track is now Gold in the UK, certified by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) at 400,000 units on Friday, January 16.

The milestone comes nearly five years after the song was certified Silver in the UK for surpassing 200,000 units, underscoring its long-lasting appeal.

This achievement adds to the song’s earlier Gold status in the United States, where it was certified in 2018 after exceeding 500,000 units in combined sales and streams by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Originally released in 2013, "Nobody Has to Know" was produced by Lamar Michael Reynolds of PLMR Productions. The single has amassed over 15 million views on YouTube, while its remix featuring Ty Dolla $ign has earned more than 166 million views.

Its organic rise and infectious melody propelled Kranium to international recognition, eventually leading to his signing with Atlantic Records.
