The New York–based deejay continues his steady rise on the dancehall scene, recently securing a booking for Best of the Best 2026 as his breakout track “Loyalty” emerges as one of the hottest songs in the genre. “My song is taking over, and it’s all because of the people who ride with me,” he shared.

Dancehall artiste Kkrytical’s rise from promising newcomer to a certified force in the genre has been steadily unfolding over the past two years.

The New York–based deejay first made major waves with his 2024 breakout single “Loyalty,” a track that quickly became a street favourite in Jamaica. The song went on to surpass one million views on YouTube and grew into a staple at local parties across the island, helping push Kkrytical’s name firmly into the spotlight. Reflecting on the song’s impact, the artiste shared that it is “probably one of the hottest tracks in dancehall right now,” adding, “it really makes me proud.”

That momentum carried seamlessly into 2025 and has continued into 2026, a period that further cemented his presence on the scene. Over the past year, Kkrytical expanded his reach across the United States, performing on nearly every major stage available to him and securing a coveted booking at Miami’s Best of the Best concert, one of the biggest festivals for the genre in North America.

With releases like “Legacy” and his recent drop “Bubble,” the deejay continues to build on his growing catalogue and sharpen his momentum. Never short on confidence, Kkrytical reflected on his success candidly: “I’m not surprised. I’ve been putting out great music for over 10 years now - just my time, I guess. After all, I’m the baddest.”

Expressing gratitude to his supporters, he added, “My song is taking over, and it’s all because of the people who ride with me - stream after stream, share after share. Keep that love coming, because 2026 is ours. I’m lining up nothing but straight hits. We’re building something legendary together. Mek me show uno say mi a one of the baddest.”
