Olympic silver medalist Kishane Thompson stormed to a season’s best 9.88s (0.0) to win the men’s 100m at the Racers Grand Prix on Saturday evening at the National Stadium.
Last year’s winner, Oblique Seville, finished strong to take second in a season’s best 9.97s, while South Africa’s Gift Leotlela claimed third in 10.04s.

Olympic bronze medalist Rasheed Broadbell wins the men’s 110m hurdles in a meeting record 13.06s, defeating American Trey Cunningham.
In the women’s 100m, rising star Tina Clayton continued her standout season, clocking 10.98s for the win ahead of American Jacious Sears, U20 world champion Alana Reid, and Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan.
Former 200m world champion Shericka Jackson took the women’s 200m in 22.53s. On the men’s side, Bryan Levell delivered a sensational run, dominating the field with a wind-assisted 19.79s (2.5), well ahead of compatriot Christopher Taylor, who placed second in 20.39s.
American sprinter Lynna Irby-Jackson clinched the women’s 400m title at the Racers Grand Prix, clocking 50.23s to edge Jamaica’s Stacey Ann-Williams, who finished second in 50.56s.
