Kishane Thompson and Clayton Sisters Open 2026 Indoor Tour in Sweden

After opening his season at the Fuller Anderson Development Meet in Spanish Town this weekend, world silver medallist Kishane Thompson joins the Clayton sisters for the World Athletics Indoor Tour launch in Stockholm

Jamaica’s world and Olympic 100m silver medallist Kishane Thompson is set to kick off his 2026 season this weekend at the Fuller Anderson Development Meet in Spanish Town on Saturday, January 17. Thompson will race against fellow Jamaicans Ackeem Blake, Rohan Watson, and Julian Forte.


He will then open his international campaign on the World Athletics Indoor Tour, beginning in Stockholm on January 22, where he will compete against British sprinter Jeremiah Azu, the world and European indoor 60m champion, as well as fellow Jamaican Rohan Watson.



The line-up also includes 2024 European 100m bronze medallist Romell Glave of Great Britain, along with Slovakia’s Jan Volko and Italy’s Samuele Ceccarelli, the 2019 and 2023 European indoor champions, respectively.


On the women’s side, the 60m event will be led by Jamaican twin sisters Tina Clayton and Tia Clayton. Both world 100m silver medallists they were also key members of Jamaica’s silver medal-winning 4x100m relay team at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.
