IMC 2024: A Resounding Win for Jamaica

Review: With universal acclaim and star-studded attendance including Teejay, Masicka, Wyclef, and more, the conference achieved greatness

IMC 2024 has garnered a spectrum of accolades, from 'Incredible', and 'Informative,' to ‘the best music conference I’ve ever attended' establishing itself as the premier music conference not only in the region but also beyond. Its primary objectives were successfully met.


The recently concluded event, hosted in Kingston, Jamaica from February 21st to 25th, boasted an illustrious lineup featuring influential personalities such as Wyclef Jean, Kes, StoneBwoy, Shaggy, Sean Paul, Spice, Teejay, Masicka, and Jessie Royal.

Moreover, the conference saw participation from notable figures including Brian Zisook of Audiomack, Tuma Basa of YouTube, Len Brown from the Grammy's, Steve Carless of Warner Music, and numerous others who contributed to various panels and discussions.


Representatives from numerous countries, including Guadeloupe, Trinidad, Grenada, Guyana, Costa Rica, and Barbados, attended the five-day event. Zimbabwe and Ghana represented the African continent. In summary, the founders and co-founders of IMC, namely Orville 'Shaggy' Borrell, Judith Bodley, and Sharon Burke, express their satisfaction with the outcome of the 2024 conference and eagerly anticipate the next edition scheduled for February 19-25, 2025.
