Grenadian Soca sensation V’ghn continues his impressive run with the announcement of his sophomore album, Dream Boy, set for release on November 13. The 21-track project will feature several collaborations and additional versions of previously released songs.
Blending Caribbean sounds with elements of Soca, Dancehall and Reggae, the album is led by his trending single “Friends,” produced by Jamaican Dancehall producer Week.day.
The “Jab Decisions” singer has recruited an exciting lineup of collaborators, including Jamaican Reggae singer Romain Virgo on “Taken For Granted,” Dancehall star Konshens on “Too Rude,” and Trinidadian Soca artiste Nadia Batson on “Priority.”
The tracklist also includes his earlier 2026 release “Jabaholic,” alongside a version recorded during his visit to BBC Radio 1Xtra's studios in London. During the same visit, V’ghn recorded a live rendition of his biggest hit to date, “Jab Decisions,” for Spotify's Carnival Sounds Live series.
V’ghn, born Jevaughn John, was among the Caribbean performers featured in Spotify's Carnival Sounds Live series, launched as part of the streaming platform's celebrations marking 60 years of Notting Hill Carnival.
Dream Boy arrives later than originally planned, having initially been scheduled for release in August.
