Three-time GRAMMY Award winner Gramps Morgan, affectionately known as the King of Country Reggae, is set to embark on his “No Water in My Whiskey Tour,” kicking off Friday, September 26, 2025, at the historic Crown Hill Theatre in Brooklyn, NY.
Fusing the heart of roots reggae with the raw storytelling of country music, Morgan has developed a signature sound that’s unmistakably his own. His 2022 GRAMMY-nominated album Positive Vibration earned critical acclaim and was featured in Tyler Perry’s hit film Madea’s Destination Wedding, cementing his place as one of contemporary music’s most distinctive and commanding voices.
“This tour is about real stories, real vibes, and bringing people together with music that moves the soul,” said Gramps Morgan.
The tour takes its name from his latest single, “No Water in My Whiskey,” a deceptively simple yet deeply symbolic song. The phrase reflects the purity of joy, friendship, and good energy, serving as a warning against anything that could dilute or disrupt a beautiful moment. Much like watering down whiskey, one wrong move can spoil something special.
“If there’s a great party with good vibes and one person goes too far, it can change the entire energy. That’s what this song is about preserving what’s pure,” explained the seasoned singer.
Fresh from his North American and European tour with his iconic royal band, Morgan Heritage, where he performed at Summerjam in Germany, Sun Splash Reggae Festival in the Netherlands, and most recently Reggae Land in London, Gramps is now set to continue bringing his unmatched vibes in a solo performance.
