Flamzz Paves His Musical Journey, Embraces Softer Side on “Feelings Grow”

Dancehall artist Flamzz continues to put in the work this year, steadily expanding his musical catalog. His latest release, “Feelings Grow,” a smooth and sensual track crafted for the ladies, drops this Friday, July 25.

The single showcases Flamzz’s softer, melodic side—blending rich melodies with heartfelt lyrics, marking a notable shift from his usual harder-edged sound. “The beat basically gave me the inspiration,” he shared. “It sounded powerful but emotional at the same time. What I hope the ladies take away is that time is the master of everything—even relationships need time for us to really understand the direction we’re heading.”

Speaking on the writing process, he explained, “I listen and absorb the beat with a clear mind. Then the lyrics and topic arise—I allow the beat to speak silently and I put it out verbally.”

Flamzz credits his current base in Kingston for helping him connect with more prominent producers and elevate his craft. “Being around artists who’ve already broken through in the music environment showed me I’m capable of being among the best,” he shared. “That alone gave me the drive to push even harder.”

Flamzz previously collaborated with Guyana’s Slingerz Records and released his third EP Orientation earlier this year, following 2021’s Cognizant and 2024’s Forever.

Looking ahead, he promises variety and depth: “Fans can expect a mix of versatility—melodies and messages. I aim to please, so I’ll be giving the ladies their piece, inspiring those who need upliftment, and to top it off, the tougher side of the streets will get their hardcore songs.”
