DJ Mac Lands in Japan for Four-Date WYFL Tour

Billboard-charting producer and selector DJ Mac, alongside World Baba, is set to bring the global WYFL Tour to Japan for the very first time, continuing the rapid international expansion surrounding the viral dancehall juggling.

The Japan run will include stops in Osaka on September 20, Okinawa on September 22, Tokyo on September 25, and Okayama on September 27, marking another major step in the growing global reach of the WYFL movement.

The tour is powered by Lifestyle Sound and Japanese producer Gacha Medz, who is also working with DJ Mac on the upcoming Night Life Riddim project featuring Valiant, Tommy Lee Sparta, and more, arriving just in time to connect with the Japanese audience during the tour run.

The four-city tour adds to the expanding WYFL Tour schedule, which officially launched on April 19 at Village Underground in London. The movement also included a June 4 stop at the iconic SOB’s nightclub in New York, one of the premier venues for hip-hop and world music, with additional North America and Europe dates still expected to be announced.

DJ Mac continues to capitalize on the momentum surrounding the WYFL Riddim, widely regarded as the hottest juggling in dancehall right now. Since its release last November, the riddim has united both veteran and new-generation artists, consistently making headlines while dominating the streets, dances, and streaming platforms across the dancehall landscape.
