Dancehall producer Shot By Deth, operating under his DethWrld Records imprint, has enlisted Trinidadian dancehall star Prince Swanny for the new single “Netball,” featured on the buzzing Block Traffic Riddim.

Already powered by current dancehall frontrunners such as Valiant, Ding Dong, Iwaata, Najeeriii, Armanii, and more, the riddim now receives a Caribbean boost with the inclusion of Swanny,a leading figure in the Trinibad movement.

This marks a historic moment, as DethWrld becomes the first Jamaican label to feature a Trinibad artist of Swanny’s stature on a traditional juggling riddim, further strengthening the musical bridge between Kingston and Port of Spain.

“Swanny a one a mi realest bredda dem, always a gimme advice and a share insight on the music,” shared Deth, whose real name is Keanu Gordon. “It’s been long overdue for us to put out something, and I just thought it was the right time with this riddim.”

But Deth’s Caribbean vision doesn’t stop there. He’s already working to add another Trinidadian talent, Coutain, to the Block Traffic project. “Coutain and I locked vibes immediately, bro smooth to work with & his voice dope asf, very mad talent outta Trinidad. I can’t wait to share that one with you all.”

With his riddim making waves locally and now crossing regional borders, DethWrld Records appears poised for a Caribbean dancehall takeover.

“To be honest, I wanna work with Caribbean artists and help push them,” he said. “I feel we have a dope wave of music and artists just waiting to be heard. Trinidad is definitely one of my targets, to love the energy they give to the music.”

Prince Swanny has been making waves over the past five years with standout tracks like “22 Catch,” “Nightmare,” and “Baghdad,” each racking up millions of views and streams across digital platforms.
