Dancehall’s rising producer Joel Engineer has teamed up with longtime friend and emerging talent Rhece for the release of their new single “38,” now streaming on all major platforms.

The track includes on the Brave Riddim, which also features dancehall heavyweight Popcaan’s banger “Decapitation” alongside cuts from Teebone and Natebadz.

“38” marks Joel Engineer’s fourth official release and his third for 2025, underscoring his dedication and cementing his place as one of dancehall’s most promising young hitmakers.

For Rhece, a Wolmer’s Boys’ High School graduate who first built his buzz on TikTok, this debut moment represents the payoff from years of quiet grinding. Reflecting on how “38” came together, Rhece explained, “Joel sent me the beat and the energy was just there. I stepped in the booth and went straight to recording—one take. The lyrics came in a flow state of mind.”

With its gritty flow, magnetic energy, and undeniable chemistry between artist and producer, “38” signals Rhece’s arrival while keeping Joel Engineer’s hit streak alive.
