Jamaican dancehall star Aidonia is set to celebrate his 20th anniversary in the music industry with a highly anticipated performance at UBS Arena in New York on Saturday, May 3.
The milestone event will feature a stellar lineup, including Sizzla, Mavado, Govana, Jada Kingdom, Cham, and Spragga Benz. Additionally, fans can expect surprise guest appearances throughout the night.
Born Sheldon Lawrence in Kingston, Aidonia began his musical journey as a teenager and rose to prominence in 2005 with the Skatta Burrell-produced single "Lolly." In 2011, he launched his J.O.P (Jag One Productions) crew, which included artists like Govana, Shokryme, Jayds, and Tanso, later rebranding it as the 4th Genna Camp.
Throughout his career, Aidonia has delivered numerous dancehall hits, including "Banga," "Hot Tool," "Yeah Yeah," "Pon Di Cocky," "Nuh Boring Gyal," and recent popular hit "Bottels", cementing his legacy in the genre.
Aidonia’s upcoming celebration follows another former member of Bounty Killer’s Alliance crew, Agent Sasco, who recently commemorated 25 years in the industry with his 'Grateful' concert in Kingston.
