Merkz secures Top 2 spots on Apple Music Jamaica

Dancehall artiste Merkz continues to make an impact with his debut EP The Mad Life, which is dominating Apple Music Jamaica. His single “11 AM in Ochi” has climbed to the #1 spot on Apple Music Jamaica, while “Rich MF” featuring Feloni19 sits at #2, both dethroning Masicka’s “Slip & Slide.”

Meanwhile, “Retard” is also making waves, climbing to #1 on the Apple Music Top 25 playlist, as the artiste continues gaining momentum across the region and on streaming platform Audiomack, where he has become one of the most trending acts.

Shortly after its release on April 28 via Merkz Music, all nine tracks from The Mad Life landed on Apple Music Jamaica’s Top Songs chart. The project also peaked at #1 locally while charting across several Caribbean territories, including Guyana, Turks and Caicos, the Cayman Islands, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, and Grenada.
