City Splash unveils its first wave of names for 2027, led by Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley in what organisers describe as a “landmark booking,” alongside Skillibeng, Dexta Daps, Stefflon Don, Wayne Wonder, and more

City Splash Festival, one of the UK’s biggest one-day celebrations of Caribbean and Black culture, has announced the first wave of artistes for its 2027 edition, set for May 31 at Brockwell Park in London.

Grammy-winning reggae icon Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley is set to headline the festival, marking a major booking for the annual event.

“A landmark booking for City Splash, Damian Marley will bring his unmistakable sound to Brockwell Park for what promises to be one of the defining moments in the festival’s history,” organisers said in an official statement.

Skillibeng will also return to City Splash after headlining its indoor event last year, adding another major London appearance to his growing UK presence.

Fellow dancehall star Dexta Daps, known for his fusion of dancehall, reggae and R&B, is also among the first names announced, alongside British-Jamaican rapper Stefflon Don, reggae veterans Wayne Wonder and Warrior King, and a selection of DJs and sound system acts.

The 2027 outdoor edition follows last year’s festival, which featured reggae legend Beres Hammond alongside dancehall heavyweights Aidonia and Elephant Man.
