Jamaican producer Countree Hype continues to expand his musical range as he kicks off 2026 with a reggae juggling titled Flim Stone Riddim.
The seven-track project draws heavily on veteran voices, featuring contributions from Christopher Martin, Lutan Fyah, I-Octane, Mojo Morgan, Turbulence, Yaksta, and more.
Rooted in authentic reggae drums and classic one-drop rhythms, the riddim blends traditional elements with modern touches, creating a warm, timeless sound suited for today’s audience.
“It might surprise some people, because I’m more recognized for new-generation dancehall and viral hits, but I wanted to do something different this time,” Countree Hype explained. “Reggae is the foundation of everything, and I’m not a stranger to it.”
The producer enjoyed an impressive 2025, helping propel Grenadian artist Samdan to the forefront with the breakout single “Blaze Up,” along with Kenyan talent Toxic Lyrikali, who his single “Backbencher” has amassed millions of views and streams in Africa.
He best well known for riddims such as Dengue and Fast & Furious, along with singles like “Shh” and “Yahoo Boyz” for dancehall artiste Intence.
