Legendary Jamaican cricketer Chris Gayle is set to host his celebrity birthday bash, "40 Shades of Gayle," once again on the pristine white sands of Pearly Beach in Ocho Rios, on September 21st.
Following the successful debut last year in Ocho Rios for the Universe Boss, as he is popularly known, with celebrity guests including Usain Bolt, Chris Gayle has decided to bring back the event to the tourism capital once again.
Chris Gayle and Usain Bolt are both serving as ambassadors for this year’s ICC T20 World Cup, set to take place in the United States and the Caribbean. Chris Gayle has received the endorsement of Lauderhill, Florida's City Commissioner, Denise D. Grant, as some T20 World Cup matches are scheduled to be held in Broward County, Florida. Additionally, Chris Gayle participated in the ICC trophy tour at the Empire State Building in New York.
Both Chris Gayle and Usain Bolt have found success in the music industry, with albums they have been a part of reaching the #1 spot on the iTunes Reggae USA album charts, even surpassing the iconic Bob Marley.
