Reggae heavyweights kick off June 17, with Banton set to return to UBS Arena two years after historic sold-out shows at the venue

Reggae legend Buju Banton and fellow powerhouse Stephen Marley have expanded their previously announced joint debut performance at the Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa on June 19, unveiling the Roots and Rhymes U.S. summer tour.

Fans across the United States can now look forward to the six-week run, set to kick off on June 17, 2026, at Marymoor Park in Redmond, just days ahead of the Costa Mesa showcase. The tour will span both coasts and major cities nationwide.

The Roots and Rhymes tour will also make stops across key states including California, Colorado, Texas, and Michigan, with a stop in Detroit on July 1, followed by Chicago on July 2. The run continues through Indiana, Wisconsin, Ohio, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Virginia, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Georgia, where the tour will conclude on July 25.

Among the major stops is a July 18 date at UBS Arena in New York City, marking Banton’s return exactly two years after his historic performance at the venue. He previously sold out the arena in July 2024 with his Long Walk to Freedom tour extension, grossing $4.5 million across two nights - widely regarded as a landmark moment for reggae in the United States.

General public ticket sales begin Friday, April 17 at 10 a.m. local time, while pre-sale tickets and VIP packages are already available.
