Buju Banton, Protoje and Cocoa Sarai Call for “One World Unite” on New Single “Oh My”

The Grammy and Emmy-winning Cocoa Sarai joins reggae heavyweights Buju Banton and Protoje for a socially conscious anthem promoting unity, mental well-being and environmental awareness

Reggae legend Buju Banton
Grammy and Emmy Award-winning singer and songwriter Cocoa Sarai has teamed up with Jamaican reggae stars Buju Banton and Protoje for “Oh My,” a socially conscious single released on World Mental Health Day (October 10).
The collaboration serves as the second single from Conscious Planet, a compilation EP executive produced by multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated producer WondaGurl, aimed at raising awareness about environmental sustainability, mental well-being and unity.
Opening with Buju Banton’s declaration, “It’s a cry to humanity,” the track draws on reggae’s tradition of addressing social issues. Cocoa Sarai adds her signature Brooklyn grit and soulful vocals, delivering the powerful refrain, “Elevate the mind before the body gone,” while Protoje reinforces the message of unity with “It’s all love no enemies.”
Released in partnership with Caribbean label Monk Music Group, the track features production contributions from WondaGurl, whose credits include Rihanna, Drake and Travis Scott; LosHendrix, known for SZA’s “Good Days”; and Nami Ondas. Reggae singer Lila Iké also contributes background vocals, alongside Cocoa Sarai, over a blend of live horns, flute and percussion.
Created in partnership with Conscious Music Circle, the Conscious Planet project supports Save Soil, a global environmental movement launched by Sadhguru in 2022 to address soil degradation.
The release follows the compilation’s first single, “Ancient Seed,” released in March 2026, featuring Dhee, Tiwa Savage, Santhosh Narayanan and WondaGurl.
