US-based dancehall recording artiste Blak Ryno kicks off Guxxie Music’s new First Watch riddim with his latest track, “Great,” released on Friday, October 2.

Produced by Demone “Guxxie” Gustavus under his Guxxie Music label, the track sees Ryno delivering a motivational message as he reflects on his ambitions and the drive to achieve greatness.

For Kingston-based producer Guxxie, this is not his first time working with the former Portmore Empire artiste.

“He featured on the Work Medz Riddim,” Guxxie said. “We’re now connecting again and the chemistry went well. You know what to expect from Ryno.”

Looking ahead, Gustavus promises that “Great” is only the beginning for the First Watch riddim, with more songs expected to roll out consistently over the coming weeks at a pace of one to two releases per week.

“We put in the work on this riddim and we have a lot more music ready to go. The plan is to keep the releases coming consistently, one or two songs every week, and give each artiste their own moment. ‘Great’ is just the start, so people can look out for much more from the First Watch riddim,” Gustavus added.
