Ayetian Wins Best New Artist at Caribbean Music Awards 2026

Just a year after making his red-carpet debut in New York, the rising Dancehall star returns to claim his first Caribbean Music Award, declaring, “A Big Man Ball Game.”

Fast-rising Dancehall star Ayetian has added another milestone to his career, taking home the Best New Artist award at the 2026 Caribbean Music Awards. The win marks a significant moment for the young deejay as he continues to establish his name across the region. “Tell Dem Seh A Big Man Ball Game,” he wrote excitedly on Instagram following his win.

The victory comes just a year after Ayetian made his first red-carpet appearance at the Caribbean Music Awards in New York. This year, he returned to the ceremony in Trinidad and Tobago to collect his first award.

In July, Ayetian earned major recognition from Billboard, which named him its Caribbean Up-and-Comer of the Month following the release of his 16-track Jampack Mixtape, his biggest project to date.

Having first gained attention through his freestyles, Ayetian has steadily built a growing fanbase with his authentic approach and distinctive style, while setting his sights on even greater achievements.

“I don’t have a set limit, but the primary goal is Grammys and Billboard charts,” he said. “Anywhere the music takes me, I’ll go with it. Even though I’m Haitian and building my foundation in Jamaica, it’s all about the Caribbean.”
