The Caribbean Music Awards has announced its first wave of performers ahead of its fourth annual celebration on September 19, while welcoming Billboard as its Official Global Media Partner

The Caribbean Music Awards has announced its first wave of performers for its fourth annual celebration, set for Saturday, September 19, at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA) in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago.
Dancehall artiste 450, reggae singer Jah Mason, Grenadian soca artiste V’ghn, Bouyon acts 1T1 and Theomaa, and Trinidad & Tobago’s Freetown Collective are among the first confirmed performers, bringing a mix of Dancehall, Reggae, Soca, Bouyon and contemporary Caribbean sounds to the stage.
Several are also nominees, with V’ghn earning seven nominations and Freetown Collective receiving three, while 450 is nominated for Dancehall Album of the Year and Theomaa for Bouyon Song of the Year.

The ceremony will also spotlight Dominica as the birthplace of Bouyon, with the Government of Dominica, through the Ministry of Tourism and Discover Dominica Authority, joining as a category sponsor.
Billboard will join the Caribbean Music Awards as its Official Global Media Partner, livestreaming the official red carpet special and amplifying the event across its digital and social platforms.
The partnership will give audiences worldwide a front-row look at the artists, honorees and cultural figures attending the celebration, while bringing the energy of Trinidad & Tobago to Billboard’s global music audience.
The ceremony forms part of the inaugural Caribbean Elite Weekend Experience, running September 18–20 across Trinidad & Tobago. Hosted by Nailah Blackman and Majah Hype, this year’s Awards will also honor Shyne, Calypso Rose, Alan Cavé and Patra for their contributions to Caribbean music and culture.
