With 90% Season Bands being sold; "It’s all systems go!" from the BEST WEEKEND EVER (BWE) Team as their patrons prepare to "escape to paradise" in the Tourism Mecca of Ocho Rios for Independence Weekend. With 6 events over four days; the BWE Team is touting their second staging as one to make the BEST MEMORIES EVER
The weekend will get off to an energetic start with Soca Lovers descending on Pearly Beach for the first staging of the 'I Love Soca Cooler Festival' (Friday, August 4) on sandy grounds. On Saturday, August 5; Daybreak Breakfast Party and Milk and Honey takes centre stage at Plantation Cove while Zimi Seh Beach and Allure kicks off Independence celebrations on Sunday, August 6 at Puerto Seco Beach and Pearly Beach respectively. It’s back to Plantation Cove for Late Check-Out on Monday, August 7. With four performances over the weekend from Viking Ding Dong (from Trinidad), Laalee, Aidonia and Tommy Lee – BEST WEEKEND EVER –promises high-energy music, trendy fashion, mouth-watering cuisine from top local chefs and luxury at the core of all events.

In addition to all events being food inclusive (except I Love Soca Cooler Festival), the BWE Team has also defined "BEST" by partnering with World Renowned Attraction, Dunn’s River Falls and Park, the trendy beach party hub, Margaritaville, popular authentic Jamaican restaurants, Plantation Smokehouse and Sharkies as well as 8 Rivaz Ultra Lounge and Le Iona Spa. All Season Band Holders will receive discounts when they visit those places for the month of August.

We also wanted to be able to contribute to the economy by ensuring that the thousands of persons locally and those who have traveled to Jamaica for BEST WEEKEND EVER who will be staying in hotels and airbnbs throughout St.Ann; get a taste of some of the elements that make Jamaica the 'BEST' place for a memorable vacation," said Director of BWE and Zimi Entertainment, Nicholas Mahfood.
As patrons traverse Ocho Rios, the BWE Team is encouraging “carpooling” as an effective method to manage the anticipated increase of motorists on the roadways. Additionally, the team has partnered with 876OntheGo as the official transportation service for the weekend.

"Drinking responsibly is also paramount as we build the BEST VIBES EVER with a partnership from Red Stripe," said Dennisor. With this partnership; Late Check Out being held on August 7 is a Rum Stripe inclusive event with Smirnoff Vodka and Johnnie Walker being official spirits of the weekend.

The official Redemption Centre for BEST WEEKEND EVER Season Bands is at Plantation Cove on Friday, August 4 between 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. and Friday, August 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
