Alkaline Announces London Return for New Rules Festival

The dancehall star will bring New Rules back to OVO Arena Wembley on March 26, 2027, following a packed UK staging in 2025 and the festival’s continued international expansion across Jamaica, Canada, the United States and the UK

Dancehall star Alkaline, alongside New Era Productions, has announced that his New Rules Festival will return to London on March 26, 2027, at the OVO Arena Wembley.

The festival was last staged in the UK on April 17, 2025, drawing a packed crowd of approximately 12,500 fans and marking the Manhimselff deejay’s first UK performance in eight years. RajahWild and Armanii joined him as special guests.

The announcement follows another strong year for Alkaline, who recently won the People’s Choice Award at the 2026 Caribbean Music Awards. He previously released his third studio album, NPT, shortly before his headline show at Barclays Center.

First launched in 2017, New Rules attracted more than 30,000 fans for its inaugural staging in Jamaica. The festival has since expanded with editions across Jamaica, the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Alkaline’s return also comes amid a renewed presence for major Jamaican dancehall acts in the UK. Earlier this year, fellow dancehall star Mavado staged The Real McCoy concert at Wandle Park in Croydon.
