Dancehall artiste Alfa Wraif is currently gearing up to drop several releases over the coming months as he prepares to introduce his unique sub-genre of Dancehall, which he calls 'Island Romance'. Through these releases, he also plans to unveil an EP of the same name.

With an innovative approach, the artist has invested considerable time in perfecting his craft and devising a high-level strategy to ensure the success of his upcoming campaigns.

“I’m adopting a fresh approach to my career by recognizing the importance of marketing, with plans to release an EP titled Island Romance before the year ends,” Alfa Wraif shared. “This project will feature tracks that highlight the R&B element within Dancehall, including 'Twilight,' a song dedicated to my female audience.”

“I have a specific campaign designed to use what I learned over the years with the current trends to dominate the music scene.  I am here to carry the musical torch Peter Tosh gave the parish of Westmoreland”

Produced by Antropolita Beats and WLDN, Twilight aims to connect with a wide audience through thought-provoking lyrics, complemented by crisp visuals from Studio 55 Production and seductive choreography crafted by Horeisha Ramsay.

The series of upcoming releases builds on momentum from other projects, including Alfa Wraif’s recent collaboration with dancehall artiste Shawn Storm titled “Winner,” which dropped last week. The track has already begun resonating with fans, setting the tone for what’s to come. Next up is his self-produced project “Gemini,“ set for release later this month, complete with an official music video.

As Alfa Wraif gears up for his debut EP Island Romance, he’s also finalizing additional singles set to hit digital platforms in the coming weeks.

His growing catalogue includes previously released tracks like “Money,“ produced by StillYet Productions, which made a solid impact and paved the way for follow-ups such as “Summer Vybz,“ which surpassed 100,000 digital streams, and “Passion,“ which secured a spot on Apple Music’s Editorial Playlist within its first three weeks.

Speaking on the impact he hopes to make with his upcoming projects and the strategy behind them, Alfa Wraif explained his approach and deeper purpose as an artist.

“I have a specific campaign designed to use what I learned over the years with the current trends to dominate the music scene. I live by my name Alfa, meaning A Legacy For All and Wraif, the hidden influence. This makes me the hidden influencer who speaks to the hearts and souls of the people, lifting them up when needed or igniting their fire when warranted. I am here to carry the musical torch Peter Tosh gave the parish of Westmoreland,” the artiste shared.

While the talented Westmoreland artiste continues to pave the way for his Island Romance debut, he is also laying the groundwork for his 2026 album, which is expected to feature several notable acts from across the musical diaspora.
